Williams dominated on both sides of the ball, but was undone by two plays. The first was a fluky interception returned 76 yards by Amherst, and the second was a 46-yard scoop and score by the Mammoths (which clearly wasn’t a fumble).
One More To Go
Unlike every other year, the last game of the 2023 season will be against Bates. All three Maine teams postponed their October 26th games to November 18th. The Ephs travel to Lewiston to close out the season against the 0-8 Bobcats.
Crazy NESCAC
Trinity and Middlebury are the top teams in the conference this year, each with one game to play vs., respectively, Bowdoin and Colby. Barring an upset, both will finish the year at 8-1. However, anything can happen in the NESCAC: Middlebury beat Trinity by five points, Wesleyan beat Middlebury by three, yet Trinity beat Wesleyan last week by 52 points.
